Breeana White B.S. (she/her/hers)

Breeana White is a Dallas, Texas native who identifies as a Black, cisgender, heterosexual woman. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, where she began developing her interest in serving underserved and diverse populations through research.

Before coming to Indiana University, Breeana was involved in research on intimate partner violence, PTSD, anxiety, substance use disorders, and pain. She is passionate about work that addresses the mental health needs of marginalized communities and is committed to providing impactful, culturally responsive care.

Her current research interests include romantic relationships, family dynamics, and the influence of parental experiences on adult relationships, particularly within African American communities. Breeana’s long-term goal is to become a Counseling Psychologist and make a meaningful impact through compassionate care.
